COVID Information

Last Updated 2 February 2024

Keep up to date with the latest Coronavirus update below and how it will, or may,

affect your visit to the home.

THE FOLLOWING IS A REQUIREMENT OF YOU ACCEPTING OUR OFFER OF A BREAK AT LYNWOOD.

PLEASE DO NOT ATTEND LYNWOOD SHOULD A MEMBER OF YOUR HOUSEHOLD HAVE COVID-19. Furthermore, at the end of their period of quarantine you must allow a further 7 full days before attending.  This is a safety precaution for the benefit of both guests and staff.

Please do not come to Lynwood if you feel unwell or are suffering from a cough, cold or any kind of virus that you could pass on to a fellow guest.

STEPS TAKEN AT THE HOME

  • Lynwood will be cleaned and sanitised daily.

  • Sanitising stations have been put up throughout the home for regular use.

  • New Covid signs are now situated around Lynwood.

  • You will be met by the Lynwood Manager upon arrival at the home who will talk through all the new changes and covid safety measures with you.

AMENDMENTS TO ADMISSION - subject to change

  • Face coverings are strongly recommended, but not compulsory, in communal areas other than when you are eating or drinking.

  • You will need to take a lateral flow test within 24 hours prior to your arrival at Lynwood which must show a 'negative' result.

  • If you feel unwell during your stay or if you start to show symptoms of Covid-19 you should remain in your room.  If you should subsequently test positive for Covid then it is imperative that you should be able to make arrangements to be taken home as soon as possible at your own cost or to appropriate healthcare facilities should you need them.

  • If a fellow guest tests positive then we may have to close Lynwood at short notice and arrange for our coach company to return you to your original pick up point.
